We are a working person’s club.
There are no initiations or huge dues to be in the club.
The only thing you need to have is a love for the VW’s.
We welcome everyone to join and to participate as often as they can.

Did a post mortum on a past engine blow sacrifice.
It was a 1915 with one type 3 head with the step still in it.
The other head was a type 1 head with no step.
One piston lost hold of the wrist pin and the other made a squiggle out of the rod.
The camshaft was a multi-piece design.

I saved the rockers, valve covers, pushrod tubes, and some hardware.
The rest went to the junkyard.

Happy Valentines day! ...

View on Facebook

Established in 1983, the Rose City Volksters are a group of automotive enthusiasts with a passion for all that is Volkswagen. As the premier Volkswagen club in Oregon we are able to leverage this status to help local charities through donations and awareness.

The club’s primary focus is sharing our passion for restoring and driving classic and new Volkswagens with fellow enthusiasts. However, we place an equal emphasis on making a positive impact within the community through our events and activities. The Rose City Volksters strive to grow and nurture outreach programs to benefit organizations like The Oregon Food Bank, Union Gospel Mission, MS Of Portland, Animal Aid and the Autism Society of Oregon.

Rose City Volksters is registered with the State of Oregon as a 501-C(3) non-profit organization.

Everyone is welcome to attend one of our monthly meetings.  On the 2nd Tuesday of every month we meet at 6:30pm at the Round Table Pizza on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in Beaverton.
