I was at Les Schwab today getting my BRM's outfitted with some rubber and asked about Smart Car tires since I could use one on the spare for my Bus.  He looked up a 145/65-15 and quoted the Dunlop Energy Saver at $185 each.  Wow!

I thought the smart car tires were 155/60/15's...

You can get those fairly easily and for around $70 each and up.
The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Where have you seen them? Local, or on the web? I think I may need to get a set. Then I can sell my 165-45-15s to marky for his thingy.

I looked them up on the web.
J is correct as they seem to have them at Americas Tire and at the tirerack.com places.

Wider contact patch with better sidewall all mixed with the "look" most are after is a good thing.

I had to let up yesterday as the front end started to push out.
I did that once and didn't like it all.....
