The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Fuel Pump relay is a cheap and easy fix. Then dump some super or better yet race gas in it, and when you get it started Seafoam it.

SEAFOAM!!!!! ;D 8)......its also recomended for lawn mowers...lol

Hmmm, what size are the snowflakes?  Wonder what it would take to make them fit on an air cooled....

I'm not sure of the width but given the size of stock Rabbit tires I would guess not much bigger if any than a bug. They are 14" rims and I really think it is 7wide but I would not commit to that answer. Anyway with the adapter they should fit.

So, how much for the wheels, and do they make an adapter to go from 4 x 130 to Wascally Wabbit size?

the adapters would be 4x130 to 4x100. or im sure you can get drum/rotor blanks and just have them drilled by a machine shop

Wheels are $200 for the still in boxes MINT ones, or $150 for the in bags and in perfect shape ones, I have 2 sets. Both sets came off an 83 GTi and both are hard to find in this shape. You could get them cheaper on the Samba or Tex if you dont care how they look (these are the GTi Black paint ones).

Oh! You are all so "air-cooled" haha...
I've been searching for this car, and am now on the site!  :D
I sold the car to him! My first VW. Miss it soo much.
Anyone have pics of the car as it sits now and/or a way to possibly contact Mark?
Thanks,
Austin
